Residency can be a tricky
thing for college students, especially those at private institutions.
In general, living in a state during the academic year does not qualify
you as a legal resident of that state.
There are four questions that can help determine if you qualify as an Illinois
resident for purposes of this scholarship; if the answer to two or more of these
questions is “yes,” you may qualify:
If you are attending school in Illinois, but
cannot answer "yes" to at least two of the questions above, you are not
eligible for this scholarship.
